Suspending
Otto at
WA Museum

CADDS Group collaborated with Cetacea Contracting to design, fabricate, and certify a steel armature and suspension system for Otto, the blue whale skeleton displayed in a dynamic lunge-feeding pose in Hackett Hall at the WA Museum. Utilizing advanced software, CADDS Group meticulously modeled each bone’s support structure, ensuring precision to prevent any damage. This approach facilitated a thorough review between designers and engineers prior to production.
